Mirorim is a duet for two dancers that explores our perception of the Other and of ourselves—how those around us can embody both a mirror and a form of otherness. Themes of rejection, acceptance, curiosity, and mistrust lie at the heart of this exploration. The dancers' bodies move through space, crossing paths, confronting one another, observing and gradually taming each other, in a process of mutual discovery where movement becomes language.

LAZAR - 33 min

“Lazar” is a dance piece by Thea Bautista, inspired by an experimental novel written by French author Olivier Benyahya. The choreography embodies the words of the novel, creating a resonant exploration that brings the literary work to life on the stage. Presented in New York, France and Mexico, the performance captures the essence of the ex- perimental narrative through movement.

RE•GARD - 14 min

This solo questions how perception shapes what we see as beauty or flaw. The title plays on the French word regard—a gaze, a way of seeing—and the English idea of re-garding: looking again. RE•GARD invites both artists and audience to revisit what we think we know about presence, control, and self-image. It is an inquiry into how we inhabit our own skin, how we expose what we once considered flaws, and how we can be vulnerable with confidence.

Body Memories - 17 min

The piece is an original choreographic project by choreographer Thea Bautista in collaboration with new media textile artist Chloe Bensahel and creative coder Jonathan Tanant. Using emerging textile wearable technologies, it focuses on the many stories told by a body and the space around it, using dance as a means of activation.
